Do I need to be home?
No. Leave your bin at the curb on your normal pickup day and we handle the rest. Most of our customers have never met us.
What if I forget to put my bin out?
We'll text you the day before as a reminder. If we show up and the bin isn't out, we'll catch it on the next pass at no extra charge — we don't charge you for a service we didn't perform.
Where does the dirty water go?
Into a holding tank on our truck, and then to an approved disposal point. Nothing goes into your yard, your driveway, or the storm drain. That last part matters more here than most places — our storm drains run to the marsh.
Do you use hot water?
No, and here's the honest reason why. Hot water helps loosen grease, but heat isn't what sanitizes a bin — the sanitizer is, and it needs contact time on the surface to work. We put our money into pressure and into an EPA-registered sanitizer rather than into a boiler. The result is a can that's clean, sanitized and doesn't smell. That's the part you actually care about.
Will it damage my can?
No. Our pressure is calibrated for polyethylene bins, and the EPA-registered sanitizer we use is safe around kids, pets and plants once it's rinsed. We've never cracked a can.
Am I locked into a contract?
Never. Stop any time, for any reason, with no cancellation fee. If you're not happy with a cleaning, tell us and we'll come back and redo it.
Does the recycling bin get cleaned too?
Yes, and it's the same price as any other bin. Recycling cans get sticky in a different way — soda residue, beer bottles, that sweet fermented smell. They benefit just as much.
What if my can is really, really bad?
That's the fun one. If it needs extra work on the first visit there's a one-time $15 charge, and we'll tell you before we do it, never after.
How do I pay?
We'll send you an invoice you can pay by card after your first cleaning, and we'll set up a recurring charge from there if you'd like. No payment is taken before we've actually cleaned anything.
